IGNITE is a growing group of diverse young professionals working together to showcase the Rockford region as a cool place to live, work and play. IGNITE provides its members with opportunities to get in front of and build relationships with local community and business leaders, as well as personal and professional development, networking and fun!

This next generation of leaders will utilize the energy and enthusiasm of young professionals and will host a series of events and programs dedicated to connecting young professionals to each other and the community.

IGNITE strives to give you, the young professional, a voice and an outlet. It's your decision what the region becomes, so now is the time to get connected and make things happen.

IGNITE will also educate young professionals on current issues and trends and provide an atmosphere that young professionals will want to call home.

As an organization, IGNITE is made up of regional young professionals that are interested in getting connected, educated, and involved in the community. The group will allow young business people the opportunity to network, interact socially, and gain insight on the businesses in the area.

IGNITE is open to those in their 20s to 40s and members are from all types of businesses, including bankers, graphic designers, lawyers, engineers, teachers, account executives, event coordinators, and many other professions. The only restriction for membership is your interest in making the most of the region and you live, work or play in the five country region we service. Those counties include the Illinois counties of Winnebago, Boone, Ogle and Stephenson, and Rock county in Wisconsin.
