Ignite, the Rockford Region’s Young Professional group, is excited and proud to begin the process of reaching out to local businesses. The LEAD committee will be managing Ignite’s Energize program. This program provides the opportunity for local businesses to partner with Ignite’s diverse and talented group of young professionals.
Businesses chosen as partners will pose their unique question, issue or opportunity to a team of Ignite’s young professionals and receive advice and consultation. The program is modeled after NBC’s “Apprentice” and is designed to diversify our members’ business experience, while providing local businesses solutions from young, talented professionals at no extra cost. With a growing number of young professionals joining Ignite and looking to become involved, we are confident that the partnership between local businesses and our members will be an enjoyable, rewarding and exciting relationship for all involved.
If you are interested in Energizing your business please read the requirements on the next page and submit the application by February 28, 2010 (all submissions received after will be considered during the next quarter).
The LEAD committee is dedicated to our mission to provide leadership opportunities to our members by offering resources for leadership training and mentoring activities that will enhance relationships with emerging leaders as well as established community and business leaders.
