IGNITE welcomes Caitlin Ludwig as its next Director.

Caitlin Ludwig was recently hired to lead Ignite into its next phase of success as staff director. She begins work with Ignite April 12, but she is no stranger to the organization. Caitlin served on the Leadership Team for Ignite since early 2009 and was instrumental in the establishment of the group and its launch phase. Caitlin previously worked with the Arthritis Foundation and the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in Rockford. Ignite was recently featured on WIFR Channel 23 in a story about Attracting Young Professionals to the Rockford community. Ignite members Richard Koniesczko and Karissa Kienast were featured as successful young professionals who have each relocated to Rockford and become active in the community through Ignite. The Rockford Area Career Clearinghouse is now housed within the Rockford Chamber of Commerce and will continue to serve as an important tool to link recent graduates, internship seekers and first-time applicants with jobs in the Rockford region. Both Ignite and the Chamber will serve as stewards of this program and facilitate its growth. Companies are encouraged to post entry-level jobs and internships with the RACC.
